MUMBAI: A Marathi film, 24 Taas, which attempted to break earlier records by completing its shooting within 24 hours, is still waiting for a theatrical release.
Reliable sources say that although the fim’s shooting was completed within 24 hours at the Surve Farm in Panvel near Mumbai in mid January 2006, the post production work is yet to be completed.
Vikas Deshmukh, who earlier made another Marathi film Tighe, has produced this film, which stars Anuradha Rajadhyakshya, Uday Sabnis, Kamlesh Sawant and others.
The producers planned to release the film immediately, but matters went awry at the post production stage, causing it to lie in cold storage for the last one year, say sources.
