MUMBAI: UTV Motion Pictures’ Udaan and the soon-to-be-released Paan Singh Tomar will be showcased at the BFI (British Film Institute) London Film Festival.
The festival is scheduled to take place from 13 – 28 October. Udaan will be showcased in the UK market for the first time post its worldwide release on 16 July, whereas, Paan Singh Tomar, will have its world premier at this festival.
Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and co-produced by Sanjay Singh, Anurag Kashyap and UTV Motion Pictures, Udaan received fantastic response from critics and masses worldwide. The film has music by Amit Trivedi. Whereas, Paan Singh Tomar, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, stars the multiple award winner Irrfan Khan essaying the role of a real-life Rajput runner in the film.
UTV Motion Pictures senior vice president – international distribution and syndication Amrita Pandey said, "It’s a very proud moment for us to have two of our films out of the seven Indian films will be showcased at the most prestigious film festival in the UK this time.
