Zoom strengthens 8.30 pm band with new Bollywood shows

MUMBAI: Zoom has strengthened its 8.30 pm band with three new shows – Bollywood Biographies, Bollywood Case Files and SuperStars Superlives.

A half an hour weekend show, Bollywood Biographies is slated to launch on 10 October. The show will feature the film industry’s most accomplished and respected actors. From Aamir Khan to Madhuri Dixit, Hrithik Roshan to Rekha, it will delve deep into the lives of the biggest stars when they are off a camera or shoot.

Bollywood Case Files features the edgy other side of Bollywood stars – from the Sanjay Dutt case to Gulshan Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan to Parveen Babi. The show will air every Monday -Tuesday, starting 13 October.

Superstars Superlives is a series on the lives of Bollywood stars. Starting 15 October, the half an hour series will air every Wednesday and Thursday highlighting the various stages of the lives of stars, depicting their rise and their journey as they achieve an iconic status.

Zoom began its programming revamp from August with an eight-part special series The Rise and Rise of Shah Rukh Khan. It also aired The Rakhi Sawant Showz and Inside Bollywood with Rohit Roy.
