A host of Bollywood stars turned up for the special screening of Karan Johar and Punit Malhotra‘s Gori Tere Pyaar Mein held at a suburban theatre, here in Mumbai. But what caught our eye, more than the celeb turnout, was heroine of the film, Kareena Kapoor Khan‘s new avatar!
Kareena seems to be channeling her Nawab aka Saif Ali Khan in more than one way. The outfit she sported for the special screening of her film was reminiscent of Saif’s rockstar look, which he has donned at several occasions.
In a black sleeveless gunjee and loose fitted black sheer pyjamas, Kareena wore a blue bandana on her head for the special screening. Her Gori Tere Pyaar Mein co-star Imran Khan too went grunge, albeit in a more sophisticated avatar. A black V-neck cardigan over olive green slacks was how Imran dressed for the occasion.

Imran and Kareena’s director and producer, Punit and Karan too, went casual. Punit was seen in a green shirt and jeans, while KJo kept it simple in a black ensemble, and a stubble for accessory.
Also spotted at this casual, relaxed film screening were filmmakers Kabir Khan and Ayan Mukerji, actor Tusshar Kapoor, Kareena’s stunning older sister Karisma Kapoor. Actresses Sophie Choudry, Kangana Ranaut, Sonal Chauhan, Esha Gupta were also seen.
Imran’s mami i.e. Kiran Rao also made a very special appearance.

Kareena Kapoor was present at yet another promotional event of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein in Mumbai, over the weekend. The Begum of Pataudi was dressed in a mix of a lucknowi salwar suit and a tunic, the flowing black chiffon with white work over it looked very desi and very elegant over her.
