MUMBAI: Arjun Rampal and Rishi Kapoor, whose film ‘D-Day’ releases this Friday, were spotted on sets of a popular dance reality TV show
Forming a mutual admiration society, Arjun and Rishi were seen praising each other on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, in the presence of celebrity judges Madhuri Dixit Nene, Karan Johar and Remo D’Souza.
Arjun, clad in a steel grey suit and a wicked ponytail, was overheard gushing about veteran actor Rishi Kapoor’s performance in the film. “Rishi Kapoor is a phenomenal actor, he has brought realism to his character. His performance is worth watching. I have been fortunate to work with him,” said Rampal.
He added: “I feel very proud after watching the movie. My decision to do it has been hundred percent worth it. When Nikhil (Advani) wanted to make this film, he wanted to present a different kind of thriller which has realism, commercial sense and an edge… I think we have achieved that.”
‘D-Day’ starring Irrfan, Rishi Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Arjun Rampal and Shruti Haasan releases on 19 July, 2013.
