Holiday, starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha was a remake of a Tamil Film Thuppakki. A.R Murugadoss directed both the movies. Holiday released on 6^th June and received positive reviews and went on to be the biggest nett grosser of the first half of 2014.
