Aligarh: Manoj Bajpayee’s role in as a gay professor in Aligarh received lot of appreciation from around the globe due to its fresh approach and stellar performance given by the actor. His role as Dr. Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras touched the audience a lot, making it one of the underrated films this year. The story was based on the real life of Dr. Siras who was banished from Aligarh Muslim University due to his sexual orientation.
