Kaho Na Pyaar Hai
While Kareena Kapoor eventually debuted in 2000 opposite Abhishek Bachchan in J.P. Dutta’s Refugee, she was offered the role of the lead opposite Hrithik Roshan in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. She even shot for some days, however, the actress decided to leave the project as the spotlight seemed to be on the producer’s son, Hrithik. KNPH went on to become a megahit and Hrithik became an overnight star and Refugee received a lukewarm response.
