Even though the actress may be repeatedly criticized for her acting skills, or lack thereof, no one can point a finger at Kapoor’s sartorial choices.

Sonam looked ‘va va voom’ draped in a gold silk Anamika Khanna half sari. The heavily embroidered red blouse with a smart zipper, tan Mary Janes, lovely jhumkas and purple clutch – Sonam obviously put a lot of thought into the look. Her hair piled up and minimalistic make up really created the right balance between edgy and ethnic.

Sonam had earlier visited Palazzo Spini Feroni at the invitation of Salvatore Ferragamo, the Internationally renowned Italian shoe designer known for making unique handmade footwear.

The actress visited the Florentine label for the ‘Shoes for a Star’ project. ‘Barfi!’ actress Priyanka Chopra and ‘Bol Bachchan’ star Abhishek Bachhan have also previously a part of the very same project.

At the Ferragamo headquarters, Sonam had had fer feet measured by the expert designer for wooden lasts as an essential part of the Ferragamo shoe-making process. A customized shoe incorporating Sonam’s suggestions, demands and requests were then made for the actress by Salvatore.

Yesterday, Salvatore Ferragamo presented Sonam her made-to-measure shoes at the Salvatore Ferragamo Boutique in Mumbai at Trident.
