MUMBAI: Sexy hunk and Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal has turned 40 today. And wife Mehr Jessia is making all the efforts to make it extra special for him. She has planned a big, surprise bash in Marrakesh, Morocco on 29 November.
“I know Mehr is planning this surprise party for me at Marrakesh which I am not supposed to know about. Who all are coming, I’ve no clue. I know my wife and daughters will be there,” he revealed.
Though he is currently shooting some grueling action scenes for Nikhil Advani’s D-Day, on the outskirts of Kutch, the actor will leave for Marrakesh on 27 November where three of his films ‘Rock On’, ‘Raajneeti’ and ‘Chakravyuha’ are being screened.
The star has no qualms about having a working birthday. “I think it’s a blessing to be doing something that you are so passionate about on your birthday.” he said. Regarding the film festival, he also added that he is looking forward to it. “It would be a mini-festival of my best work and then the party that Mehr is organizing at Marrakesh. But that’s a little way off.”
Arjun Rampal is perhaps in the best phase of his life. Not only has his acting career moved into a positive zone, but also his entrepreneurial endeavours have been received well. He set up a lavish nightclub called LAP in Delhi and will open one in Mumbai too. The club is already popular among the who’s who of the Bollywood industry and glamorous socialites.
Obviously this brings an immense sense of satisfaction for Rampal. “I think this is a birthday in the truest sense. I am stepping into a new phase of my life and this time backing me up is acceptance, experience, confidence and more faith. I am content with my journey so far, but also, really hungry for more in the years to come,” he said.
AND let’s not forget, that forty or not, Arjun Rampal can still make women swoon. He is considered to be one of the sexiest men in Bollywood. “Sexy at 40, hmmm! I hope they find me just as sexy at 50 too,” he laughs.
