A Real Bajrangi Bhaijaan Story, Indian Girl Stuck In Pakistan!

Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan story is no way stopping to be true in real life for some people. After a Pakistani lady was caught without a passport recently at Jalandhar railway station, another such incident has left us shocked. Bajrangi Bhaijaan story has hit in real for an Indian deaf and dumb girl who is stuck in Pakistan for more than 14 years.

According to the reports, external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday have asked Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr TCA Raghavan, to go to Karachi with Mrs Raghavan and meet this girl who is stuck in Pakistan for almost 14 years who failed to trace her family in India.

The girl named Geeta 23 is believed to have mistakenly crossed into Pakistani territory as a child. Her story bears striking resemblance to that of Salman Khan-starrer Bollywood film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Reportedly, Punjab rangers brought her to Pakistan 14 years ago and since than we have been trying to locate her family or her hometown so that she can return.

It all happened when the girl was first brought to an Edhi Centre in Lahore from Punjab. Later she was sent to a place in Karachi where Bilquis Edhi named her ‘Geeta’. Showing a soft and corcerned gestures, the shelter home staff’s have created a separate room where she can pray with the posters of Hindu deities.

Managing to know her home, Geeta has managed to communicate with Edhi staff where she was found pointing at the Indian map on a mobile phone and than breaking down into tears. She pointed first at Indian state of Jharkhand and then at Telangana, considering she might be from either of one place.

Using facial expressions and fingers, Geeta said that she has seven brothers and four sisters and she also tries to copy Hindi words from Magazine. Amongst her writings, the numbers ‘193’ make a frequent appearance assuming that it may be her house number.

Human rights activist and former minister Ansar Burney, who brought Geeta’s issue in notice three years ago during a visit to India, is currently running a Facebook campaign for her. In reply to his tweet regarding the Pakistani girl who cant hear or speak, Sushma Swaraj tweeted, “I have asked Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr TCA Raghavan to go to Karachi with Mrs Raghavan and meet this girl. @AnsarBurney”

It seems Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan story has fallen out to be true where a little girl Harshaali Malhotra who lands up in India mistakenly from Pakistan. Salman Khan tries to face every consequence in the film to send the little girl back to her homeland in Pakistan.
