[imagebrowser id=224]MUMBAI: Bollywood has recently seen a lot of in-flight activity, courtesy our very own stars jetting off to and from several exotic holiday destinations. The most recent stars to be snared in our airport rendezvous were superstar Amitabh Bachchan, and ex-beauty queen Sushmita Sen.

The Shehenshah of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan was spotted at the Chatrapati Shivaji International airport in Mumbai, post returning from his trip to Florence. The actor was in Florence to attend the 12th edition of ‘River to River Florence Indian Film Festival’, and looked positively dapper as the ‘man in black’. Mr. Bachchan sported a cool leather jacket, over a pair of black trousers. A black designer travel bag and a pair of Italian leather shoes completed his ensemble.

Amitabh Bachchan revealed to the world how upset he was upon misplacing his laptop, in the hotel room in Florence. On his blog, Senior Bachchan posted: “Major tragedy! My valet forgot to pack my laptop in Florence, and I have landed in the Isles without it, livid and most upset. Luckily my CEO was still in Italy and has found it and shall be able to get it back but only when I reach Mumbai and home.”

Despite this technical snag, the 70-year-old superstar made it a point to ensure his connectivity to his “extended family” isn’t severed.  “My hotel in the Isles has very kindly given me a working Mac and I am writing this on it, and shall then have to email it to my digital team in Mumbai and they shall load it up on the Blog and Twitter and the FB!” Amitabh added.

And on the other end of the spectrum, Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen was also spotted at Mumbai airport late last night, arriving from an undisclosed locale. Clad in a tight fitted navy blue tee, jeans, a long black blazer and a pair of knee-high boots, Sushmita was the quintessential woman in black. A face steered clear of any shred of makeup, Sushmita looked ready to just reach home and crash. Which tells us just how exhausting her journey must have been!
