[tps_footer]With just a couple of days left for Total Siyappa to hit the silver screen, both Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam are busy in the promotions of their film.
Total Siyappa is a romantic comedy about a Pakistani guy who falls in love with Indian girl and how he faces all the trouble to get approval from the girl’s family.
After a successful debut with Vicky Donor, this is Yami Gautam‘s second release. Post her first film, Yami did not go on to sigh films after films but carefully chose her projects and is very excited and upbeat about Total Siyappa. Yami chose to be a part of Total Siyappa as the story touched her heart she really liked the script.
“I have always done work to which my heart says yes. If a film is a huge hit, you do think properly before choosing your next projects. I am not from a film family or a Mumbai girl. The probability of getting a second chance is low and so one has to be more careful. That doesn’t mean I am scared,” stated a very confident Yami.
Just like Yami, her co-star Ali Zafar, too is very happy and excited with the way the film has shaped up.
“Total Siyappa is a different take on Indo-Pak relations. It takes you to a different place, you forget everything and you’re just with those characters. You forget all boundaries and in the end you realize that we’re all the same,” informed Ali.
Total Siyappa, releasing on March 07, 2014 is being directed by Eshvar Niwas, who had earlier directed films like Shool, Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, Dum and My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves.
It stars Ali Zafar, Yami Gautam, Anupam Kher and his real life wife Kiron Kher. The couple is appearing together for the first time in a movie.
