[tps_footer]In February this year, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor were part of a roast (insult comedy), which was spearheaded by the popular comic collective, All India Bakchod (AIB). This was a new concept in the country, and was received well by the audience. However, the event caused a lot of revolt among a few groups, and also resulted in police complaints against these celebrities. But apparently, the backlash hasn’t deterred admirers of the concept. The makers of Angry Indian Goddesses, which is directed by international film-maker Pan Nalin, want to host a similar event, for which they have approached a few Indian cricketers.

When contacted, Pan Nalin said “Yes, we have approached a few cricketers and we are planning a roast. It is just a fun thing and we are excited about it… We are working on the dates as of now.[/tps_footer]
