After much speculations, it is confirmed that Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar, who were last seen together in YRF’s ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’, are all set to be seen together in Anand L Rai’s next movie.
It was announced by their spokesperson:
The Tanu Weds Manu director Anand L Rai who is producing his next movie has roped in the pair for his next movie Manmarziyaan. It will be directed by Sameer Sharma who made his directorial debut with ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’. The pair was loved by Anand L Rai and thought they were brilliant in ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’.

Some sources say that the film set in Punjab and will present Bhumi in a completely different avatar than what she appeared in her debut film. This is Bhumi’s first movie after her major weight loss. She had put on weight for her character in her debut movie.
Bhumi Pednekar made her debut in YRF banner opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. The duo had won our hearts with their phenomenal performance in ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ and their film was acclaimed both critically and a hit at a ticket window. Bhumi made her mark with her debut performance. Her character ‘Sandhya’, was an overweight girl burdened by not just by her size, but by the lingering awareness that love could, heartbreakingly, be out of her reach. Ayushmann and Bhumi’s pair loved and appreciated by everyone.
Let’s hope, with ‘Manmarziyaan’, they are able to re-create the same magic on screen, again!
