Bollywood film ‘Shaandaar’ starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has released today on October 22, 2015 and is off to a good start. The film has gathered decent crowd at the morning show with an occupancy rate of around 35%. The opening show occupancy is certainly good, and is owing to the public holiday of Dussehra. The film has opened better than Akshay Kumar’s ‘Singh Is Bliing’ at many areas including Mumbai and Pune.
‘Shaandaar’ has got a good occupancy rate of 35% which indicates the film will have good collections on its first day. Film’s lead stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will probably have the best opening film of their career as ‘Shaandaar’ promises to perform well at the box office. The film has performed well in Mumbai and Pune regions which means that the collections will be higher from the Mumbai circuit. The film has done well in certain parts of Delhi where the occupancy rate has surpassed that of ‘Singh Is Bliing’.
‘Shaandaar’ is a romantic comedy film which sees a rich family going abroad for their daughter’s wedding. The film sees Shahid Kapoor as the wedding planner who is fun filled to the core. Alia Bhatt plays the lead heroine who later falls in love with Shahid. Shahid’s sister Sanah Kapoor plays the role of Alia’s sister in the film. All in all it is a film that will appeal to the youth as well as the elder audience giving it more scope nationwide.
‘Shaandaar’ is directed by Vikas Bahl who is still enjoying the legacy of his film ‘Queen’ which was a huge blockbuster. The film also stars actors Sanjay Kapoor, Pankaj Kapoor and also a special appearance by Karan Johar. After a good start, we’re now waiting to see Shaandaar’s first day collection at the box office.
