‘Beyhadh’ fame actor Piyush Sahdev found guilty of rape charges pressed against him.
On November 22 ‘Beyhadh’ fame actor Piyush Sahdev was arrested by Versova Police. He was accused of raping a 23-year-old model. Since that day Piyush has been in police custody.
The model filed an FIR with the Versova Police Station against Piyush on November 20. As reported by Hindustan Times, the actor met the model via common friends. They struck fancy and soon moved in together. Piyush even proposed marriage to her after two months of their relationship. The couple had a nasty fight when the model found some objectionable photographs of him with another girl. Apparently, the actor later refused to marry her.
Versova Police’s senior inspector Kiran Kale said to TOI, “Sahdev has been booked under the Indian Penal Code section 376 (1) (rape),”
Piyush’s ex-wife Akangsha Rawat commented on the same and said she does not want to be entangled in this matter. She further added she has not been in touch with her estranged husband since months. Piyush’s siblings Gireesh Sahdev and Meher Vij were clueless.

The siblings stated they have not been in touch with their brother since his wedding to Akangsha. Meher only spoke to her brother through their father. Although, recently Gireesh got in touch with Piyush owing his separation and subsequent divorce with his wife.
Now, according to medical reports, Piyush has been found guilty of raping the model. Reportedly, the investigation officer mentioned that the investigation is underway and a charge sheet on the same is being prepared.
Currently, Piyush Sahdev is in judicial custody in Arthur Road jail after his bail plea was rejected by the court.
On the work front, Piyush Sahdev was last seen in ‘Beyhadh’. In the hit daily soap he played an antagonist. Piyush has also been a part of ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’, ‘Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke’, ‘Geet’ and ‘Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai’.
