The Ghazi Attack starring Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Atul Kulkarni, Late Om Puri and Kay Kay Menon in pivotal roles has managed to hold well at the Box Office. Thanks to the positive word of mouth. Directed by debutant Sankalp Reddy, The Ghazi Attack is an extraordinary film based on the real incident, which entails the story of an Indo-Pak underwater war. The interesting storyline has surely caught everyone’s curiosity, which has helped the film to show an upward trend at the Box Office.
The Ghazi Attack earned Rs 1.25 crore nett approx (12 million) on its first day and continued to show the growth on its first weekend. The film collected Rs 2.25 crore nett approx (22 million) on Saturday and Rs 2.75 crore nett approx (27 million) on Sunday. After a decent weekend, “The Ghazi Attack” grossed close to Rs. 1.50 crore nett approx (15 million) on Monday. Considering Monday business, Rana Daggubati film is expected to do well in the coming days. The total collection of the film stands at Rs 7.75 crore nett approx (77 million), which is not bad.
As Karan Johar is backing the film for its Hindi release, the audience footfalls would entirely depend on the positive word of mouth spreads in the coming days. The film has a good trend on low numbers.
Other releases, Shoojit Sircar’s Running Shaadi and Naseeruddin Shah’s Irada, are a total disaster at the Box Office. Both the films might settle for lifetime business of around Rs 1 crore nett.
