[tps_footer]Shah Rukh Khan starrer film ‘Fan’ is one unique movie. The film is heavily based on the content and not everyone is accepting the tricky plot. After the gigantic opening on the first day of release, the movie saw a drop in collections on Saturday. Movies like ‘Fan’ evidently have this hindrance as the film is not meant for masses. With no songs and plot oriented take, the film will have to strive hard in the weekdays.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the story of the film is the winner apart from SRK’s presence. The content has worked well in a few circuits but has not been able to garner many crowds in other areas. The first-day collection of the film was whopping as it was also a holiday. However, the film has seen a major drop in its Monday collection.
The first Monday collection of ‘Fan’ is Rs. 5.75 crore net approx. The film has seen a huge drop of almost 60%. Story-centric movies often face this glitch when it comes to the weekdays. Nevertheless with the steady weekend business, the film has entered a good range in terms of overall collections.
It can be speculated that Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Fan’ will cross the 70 crores mark in this week. In order to make up for the loss of the weekdays, the film has to again buck up in the upcoming weekend. The total collection of ‘Fan’ for the first four days comes to Rs. 57.75 crore net approx.[/tps_footer]
