‘Baar Baar Dekho’ and ‘Freaky Ali’ clashed at the box office last Friday. The two films could not garner more crowds at the screens. The films were low in their opening number and also did not show any increasing figures in the weekend. The competition level between the two movies was also lacking because neither of the two was extraordinary.
‘Baar Baar Dekho’ starring Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles was much hyped before its release. The film was much awaited by the youth for its fresh on-screen pair and mind blowing songs. The concept of time travel in the movie was also much looked forward to. However, the plot of the film lacked and the reviews were varied.
Coming to ‘Freaky Ali’, the Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer was on the minds of the audience for its amazing trailer. The film was assumed to be content driven but that did not happen. ‘Freaky Ali’ received above average reviews but could not attract large crowds at the screens.
The two films have crossed their first Tuesday at the box office.
