Kahaani 2 starring Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles released last Friday. The film, which is a sequel to 2012 Kahaani, created a lot of expectations among the audience before the release. But Kahaani 2  opened average at the Box Office with 15-20% occupancy and managed to collect Rs. 4.25 crore net approx (Rs 42 million) on its first day of release.

The film has started on a low note and if the movie was backed by positive responses and reviews it might surely make a mark on the box office. But did the film manage to mint good numbers in its first weekend?
