Kahaani 2 collected Rs. 5.50 crore nett approx on Saturday and Rs 6.75 crore nett approx on Sunday, taking the total 3 days collection to Rs 16.50 crore nett approx.  Kahaani has fared well in West Bengal followed by Mysore and Mumbai. Now, the film has to hold a strong Monday in order to have a good first week run at the Box Office. Despite being a content driven film, it’s difficult for the sequels to sustain as there are lots of expectations than the prequel.

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Kahaani 2 stars Vidya Balan as the protagonist and also stars Arjun Rampal as a cop. The film is completely different to the prequel and the thriller quotient has been taken a notch up.
