Finally, some good news for Imran Khan and his wife Avantika. The good news is not that his film is a hit at the Box Office or he has signed a promising project, but the good news is that Imran and Avantika are expecting their first baby in June next year (2014).
“I am really excited about this. I think I am more excited than Avantika. Also, I am more ready than she is,” said an excited papa to be Imran Khan.
Imran Khan is hoping for a girl, while Avantika for a boy. Her love for life, her warmth and her ability to make people feel comfortable around her are some of the quantities that Imran wants the baby to imbibe from Avantika.
A few months ago, Avantika was detected with dengue and it was at this time that the tests also revealed that the couple was on their way to becoming parents.
Imran’s parents divorced when he was a year and a half old. His mother then married actor Raj Zutshi. they too parted ways in 2006.
Imran began dating Avantika Malik, daughter of Vandana Malik, CEO of the CNBC-TV18 business news channel, at the age of nineteen. The couple were engaged on January 16, 2010 and they married a year later on January 10, 2011.
The year 2014 looks promising for Imran as he has a couple of films lined up for release. Two of them: Vikramaditya Motwane’s Bhavesh Joshi and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next. Bhavesh Joshi is almost ready and post production work is going on. On the other hand, preparations are underway for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s yet untitled project.
