MUMBAI: Bollywood’s most fabulous fashion diva Sonam Kapoor is most excited to be attending the Cannes film festival next month!
The lovely daughter of Anil Kapoor, Sonam is all set to wow International audiences with her keen sartorial sense, at the biggest most prestigious film festival in the world, the Festival de Cannes, which kicks off next month.
Spotted at a Manish Malhotra fashion show for Colgate’s new Visible White range of toothpaste, Sonam looked effortlessly chic as always, in a stunning blood red lehenga choli. She was accompanied by Bollywood’s latest funny man, Ayushmann Khurrana, who was dapper in a grey bandhgala jacket and trousers.
A source close to Sonam revealed: “Sonam will be attending Cannes next month. The film festival is celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema and Sonam has shot for a special feature with a French team who has come down to capture a day in the life of a Bollywood celebrity.”
The French team is reportedly in town, and have been following Sonam around diligently, capturing her everyday routine and shooting schedules. This is not Sonam’s first French connection, for she has attended the Cannes film festival a few times before, and is even brand ambassador for a French beauty products line.
