MUMBAI/ NEW YORK: First Friday of the New Year, and we bring to you a BIG scoop. Rumour has it, that all is very well in the Ranbir-Katrina paradise. For we have stumbled upon news of the love birds cozying up in the faraway metropolitan city of New York, in the U.S.A.
Katrina Kaif reportedly did her best to give the slip to the media at large, and had gone on record saying that she would be spending Christmas and New Year’s with her mother and family in London city. However, a little birdie brings us news that she did indeed spend Christmas in London, but took off for the flashy Big Apple soon after. The reason: Ranbir Kapoor, of course!
Try as they might, Ranbir and Katrina have not yet succeeded in convincing the world at large that they are just “good friends”. As much as they vehemently deny their relationship, buzz is that the two were spotted enjoying the winter sunshine and icy cold winds in New York’s Manhattan district on 31st December 2012.
Fans had reportedly spotted the two Bollywood superstars snuggled together, bundled up in woolens, walking hand-in-hand in New York. Fans also caught them at a Manhattan theatre watching the film ‘Lincoln’ which stars Daniel Day-Lewis. Ranbir and Katrina naturally did their best at trying to blend in: wrapped up in ski- caps, long overcoats and thick, woolen stoles. But their incognito visit did not go unnoticed: one fan even swore that they were “looking every bit in love” on their New Year’s Eve night-out in Manhattan. The couple then reportedly checked into a five star hotel.
This of course, is not the first time that Katrina and Ranbir have partied together on New Year’s Eve in the Big Apple. A couple of years ago, when Ranbir was in New York shooting for ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ with Priyanka Chopra, Katrina has reportedly flown out to meet him, once again after a brief stopover in London.
