MUMBAI: Shadab Faridi, the soulful voice behind “Tu hi haqeeqat” song, has been roped in to sing for the sequel of 2010 blockbuster “Dabangg”.
“As a singer I feel very lucky that I get a chance to be part of Salman Khan upcoming movie. As a Sufi singer it is great to be work with Bollywood Khans,” Shadab, who was a contestant on music reality show “Music Ka Maha Muqabla”, said in a statement.
Shadab has previously sung for the films like “Rann”, “Jodi Breakers” and “Agent Vinod”.
He had also sung for one of the episodes of Aamir’s Khan’s “Satymev Jayate”.
“Dabangg 2” will see Salman Khan and Sonakashi Sinha reprising their roles while the new addition to the cast in actor Prakash Raj.
