MUMBAI: It has just been a week that Priyanka Chopra lost her dear father. But, a thorough professional that she is, she resumed training the very next day after the prayer meet for her father was conducted and attended by fellow Bollywood stars.
The actress is working hard for the Mary Kom biopic, which is being directed by Omang Kumar. Priyanka Chopra tried her best to put a brave front and resumed work, but at the mahurat of the film at a studio in Mumbai, the actress could not control her emotions and broke down to tears.
Priyanka Chopra had placed her dad’s picture clad in an army uniform and paid her respects before the mahurat shot. But she got too emotional and could not control herself.
We hear that the actress somehow managed to control after being comforted by her mother, who was also present at the mahurat. She resumed work and shot for an intense action sequence post the incident.
Clad in a blue jersey and red shorts, Priyanka Chopra began shooting for the Mary Kom film with a boxing ring scene along with an international fighter.
