MUMBAI: Cricket and films may be India’s biggest religion, but only recently – with the Indian Premier League (IPL) – have the twain met.
And now when Sachin Tendulkar, India’s largest cricket icon finally retired from the game, after almost 24 years of playing, many Bollywood celebrities tweeted about what they felt about the retirment.
First up was the superstar Shah Rukh Khan himself who said that Sachin Tendulkar was addiction to him.
O no! Suddenly realised the meaning of addiction. Mine was the Master.I am going thru cold turkey. To see cricket without Sachin? Unbearable
