MUMBAI: Milap Zaveri’s directorial debut Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai has wrapped up shooting and is slated for a June release. The movie is produced by Mukesh Talreja and Nikhil Advani’s People Tree Films.
The movie is a romantic comedy and has Jacqueline Fernandes playing an alien from Venus looking for love on planet Earth, where she bumps into Deshmukh. Speaking to Businessofcinema.com Zaveri says, "The film has been made to entertain and certain situations are really funny. Its part sci-fi too. But the best is my casting of Farah Khan, who plays herself in the film."
Elaborating on a scene that he shot in mid December, Zaveri says, "There is a scene where Riteish who plays an assistant to Farah Khan gets her a cup of tea. The tea is not to her liking and in anger Farah spits the tea on his face. Riteish is a real sport as that shot was okayed only after three takes."
Riteish, who disappeared from the limelight and did not respond to any calls or messages, is currently shooting for the film. He recently also completed shooting for Sujoy Ghosh’s Alladin. The song sequence picturised on him and Amitabh Bachchan, was choreographed by Shiamak Davar.
