MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone has had a whirlwind 2013. From ‘Race 2’ to ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ to ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Ram Leela’ coming soon, she’s had huge hits.
She was also recently shooting in Dubai for Farah Khan’s next ‘Happy New Year’ and Deepika Padukone has now come down to take a two-day breather in Goa.
But she’s not in Goa just for a small holiday. Come the following week, Deepika Padukone’ll begin shooting for her ‘Cocktail’ director Homi Adajania’s next called ‘Finding Fanny Fernandes’. Arjun Kapoor will join them on Goa’s beaches as soon as he returns from Kolkata where he is currently shooting for ‘Gunday’.
Deepika Padukone’s spokesperson reveals, “She has narrations and costume trials lined up, but essentially these two days will be lighter. She’s looking forward to spending some time by herself and catching up with Homi as well.”
Besides ‘Happy New Year’ and ‘Finding Fanny Fernandes’, Deepika Padukone also has a film with Ranbir Kapoor lined up, being directed by her ‘Love Aaj Kal’ director Imtiaz Ali. The film is tentatively titled ‘Window Seat’.
