About a fortnight ago, three times nominee and one time winner of National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress, Divya Dutta was spotted wearing an elegant and stylish cotton saree. Her look seemed effortless and ethic. She was seen flaunting a fabulous checkered saree with a black blouse that made her look tastefully stylish.
Recently, Vidya Balan was spotted with that same look, when she met Rekhaji at the launch of Dabboo Ratnani Calendar 2019. The difference being the print on the saree. Divya Dutta was spotted wearing a checked saree and not only did she look graceful wearing it but she was making a statement – promoting Indian handloom.
Vidya Balan seems to do the same. She has chosen the same look with a birds print.
Seeing Vidya in that saree makes us wonder if she was inspired from Divya’s look? Whatever be the case, we are just happy that two beautiful and elegant leading ladies of Bollywood who take up roles that move the audience have decided to take up a look that seems to make Indian hand-loom sarees look like the in thing these days.
