A lot of action’s been surrounding ‘Barfi’ actor Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Roy’. However the actor’s been missing out from it all.
It was said that actor stayed away from all the promotions of ‘Roy’ to not steal the thunder from his co-actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal, as Ranbir just has a cameo in the film. According to reports, Arjun Rampal made it pretty clear that his co-star Ranbir Kapoor wasn’t avoiding anything and will start promoting the film from February 1. “Ranbir is present through and through in the film. I don’t know where the ‘special appearance’ news is coming from. Of course, he will join us in promotions starting February 1. I hope all speculations are put to rest then,” Arjun cleared the air.

‘Roy’ is a story about an art thief named Roy, played by Ranbir Kapoor, who leads a grave and reserved life. However, the thief falls in love with Ayesha, played by Jacqueline Fernandez. The chemistry between Jacqueline and Ranbir and Arjun andJacqueline seems to work! While the Ranbir plays a film star who is actually a thief, Arjun plays the role of a film director.
Film ‘Roy’ is set to release on February 13, 2015. The movie is directed by Vikramjit Singh who happens to be Ranbir Kapoor’s childhood friend, and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar & Freeway Pictures and co-produced by Ajay Kapoor. Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal will be seen sharing the frame on the big screen with Ranbir Kapoor.
