Himmatwala, an upcoming Bollywood action-comedy film directed by Sajid Khan, features “The Brave” Ajay Devgn opposite “The Beautiful” Tamannaah in the lead roles.
It is an official remake of the Sridevi’s 1983 blockbuster ‘Himmatwala’ which itself was a remake of a Telugu film Ooriki Monagadu.
Slated to release on 29th March 2013, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Prakash Raj, Bruna Abdullah, Zarina Wahab; and Jeetendra and Akshay Kumar in a special appearance.
Reportedly earlier Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma or Deepika Padukone were being selected for Sridevi’s character, however, in the end South beauty Tamannaah was finalized as the female lead. This movie will mark her debut into Bollywood.
