The film was earlier named Gabbar, but the name was recently changed to Gabbar Is Back. The film will see Kareena Kapoor Khan doing a cameo and will see actress Shruti Haasan as well where the actress is singing an urban number in the film. The song, which is a modern, edgy and pop love number, will be picturized on Shruti herself.
Gabbar Is Back is an official remake of 2002 Tamil film Ramanaa. Directed by Krish, the film also features Prakash Raj and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles.
