Internet was abuzz soon after the news about Haider star Tabu replacing Bollywood actress Rekha in Fitoor broke out. The latest update about Tabu getting on board after Rekha said bye-bye to Abhishek Kapoor and his film shocked almost everyone.
The announcement revealed that Tabu was to play the character of Miss Havisham in Fitoor, which was earlier played by Rekha. The announcement about one veteran star being replaced by another invited a lot of speculations. Different people had different theories on why Rekha walked out of the film after completing the shooting of her part.
We bring to you the reason why Rekha decided to take the door and walk out of Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer film Fitoor.
Recent reports reveal that due to different perception and understandings on the one of the characters in Fitoor, Miss Havisham, between Rekha and director of the film, Abhishek Kapoor, the actress decided to walk out of the project.
Yes, apparently, Rekha had finished film’s shoot and in fact re-shot some of the scenes that she felt weren’t perfect but the outcome didn’t quite impress the veteran star. Both, Rekha and director Abhishek had a different picture of Miss Havisham inside their minds and due to this, the outcome failed to satisfy Rekha and Abhishek and so Rekha decided to walk out.
Soon enough, the filmmaker approached Haider actress Tabu and offered the spot that was left by Rekha and since Tabu had dates, the actress came on board. Without wasting any further time, Tabu started shooting for Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor, which is an adaptation of Charles Dickens’s Great Expectation this week itself.
The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead role. In Fitoor, we’ll see Katrina sporting a whole new different avatar and look. The film is most likely to hit the theatres in early 2016.
