When Rakesh was asked what he has to say about all his son’s controversies, he said that he knows the truth, and Hrithik is right. When he was asked if all this had a negative effect on Mohenjo Daro, he stated that director Ashutosh Gowariker had a vision. But what did not work were the last 20 minutes of the film. He further said that the VFX failed it, and things appeared tacky. Roshan also quoted that the last few reels of a film always stays in the audiences’ mind, and that’s where the film did not work.

Rakesh also announced that Hrithik’s film Krrish 4 won’t be clashing with Shah Rukh Khan’s film with Aanand L Rai, in 2018. He stated that it is unethical to release the film on the same day as SRK has already booked the date. However, he is not ready to shift the release date of Kaabil that will be clashing SRK’s Raees.
