The Court is reluctant to give the green flag to ‘Mohalla Assi’. This is not the first time we see the courts being hesitant to release a movie. Mohalla Assi is the new victim. It’s believed that the trailer is hurting the sentiments of people.
The character portraying Lord Shiva is seen abusing in the trailer which is not easy for the religious people to digest. The trailer has resulted into protests in Varanasi. The state of Uttar Pradesh is showing more reactions than any other state as the movie is based on the holy city of Benares.
The director Chandraprakas Dwivedi who is famous for his 1991 television epic Chanakya is having a tough time convincing the court. Moreover, the movie which is based on the book Kashi ka, Assi by Dr. Kashinath Singh was supposed to hit the theatres on the 4th July 2015.
Sunny Deol who plays the role of Sanskrit teacher in the film has already been sent legal notices and FIR. There are already complaints against Sunny Deol and also the director.

In the trailer, Sunny Deol is seen to be a pundit in the movie but he is also seen using abusive language and Saksi Talwar will be seen playing his wife. It seems that every character has something offensive to say in the movie and that’s why people from the city itself are not happy with such portrayal.
The movie doesn’t talk about the beauty of the city only but also brings out the unknown secrets of the city which is censorable.
Ravi Kishan believes that the actor playing Lord Shiva has abused in the movie and that is one of the critical issues. According to Ravi Kishan who plays an important role in the film said that the trailer released was an uncensored one and so that the scenes showcasing Lord Shiva could have been shot in different way.
The trailer has already made headlines as some people are excited to see the other side of Benares but thepeople of the city believe that movies is an impostor.
The leaked trailer clearly says that the director believes in Teri Keh Ke Lunga!
