MUMBAI: Newlywed Bollywood star Vidya Balan, who stars in the upcoming comedy flick ‘Ghanchakkar’, says that she would love to continue acting till she’s 83!
Spotted on the sets of reality TV show ‘DID’s Supermoms’, Vidya was the epitome of grace and action. After her stint as jury member at Cannes, the beautiful actress is back to doing what she does best: entertaining, entertaining and entertaining!
In a black long kurta and skinny tights, Vidya made quite an impression minus her usual kanjeevarams. Promoting ‘Ghanchakkar’ seemed to be her top priority, as she also spoke about her career, her husband and the fact that she would love to continue acting as long as she could.
“I would love to act till I am 83! I think there are enough opportunities to do so,” said the 35 year old actress.
Speaking about her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur, Vidya shyly said: “He is very supportive. In fact, I did ‘The Dirty Picture’ after we got together. Both of us value what the other one does. I may choose a role which I feel very strongly about, and he may decide to produce a film which he feels very strongly about. You just have to respect each other’s professions.”
She said that though she’s enjoying movies and marriage, she finds she needs to make time for her husband. “Somehow, in the six months that we have been married, both Siddharth and I have been travelling a lot. Despite the fact that we live in the same house, we hardly spend sufficient time together,” she lamented.
