[tps_footer]Prakash Jha and Karan Johar have always been poles apart with their views and genre of films. Celebrated filmmaker Karan who is always prim and proper with his high end exotic films, recently commented on the intolerance issue in India. The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director pointed out recently that talk about freedom of expression is a big joke and democracy is the second biggest joke. The comments made by the elite filmmaker raised many eyebrows and garnered varied opinions and views.
Karan Johar who has always been termed as the wittiest of all, also stated at the Jaipur Literature Festival that we are in a tough country and to speak about one’s personal life can also land you up in jail. The daring statements made by Karan Johar have further stirred up the intolerance debate which was initiated by Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.
Jai Gangaajal director Prakash Jha who aims at showcasing reality in his movies has now given it back to Karan Johar. Prakash Jha is applauded for his films related to politics and the acclaimed filmmaker has a completely different view on the intolerance debate.
Jha stated at the promotional event of his film ‘Jai Gangaajal’ that, “He (Karan Johar) had talked about his own state of mind and not the current state of the country. Why should we worry about his state of mind? He just described his mental state and it is his right to express himself.”
The mind blowing filmmaker Prakash Jha further added, “There is no situation like intolerance in the country. Our society is strong and we have been respecting each other cultures and communities.”
Well, seems like Prakash Jha is nothing but highly proud of the country.[/tps_footer]
