It was a high-octane, machismo fuelled first look launch of ‘Shootout at Wadala’ at a suburban mall in Mumbai, with John Abraham walking into the venue dressed to the T as the menacing mobster ‘Manya Surve’. John wore an olive green military inspired shirt, black trousers, maroon shades and a characteristic red tilak on his forehead. The first look launch was high on testosterone, with the film’s makers deciding to have an explosive event, quite literally. Reportedly, the action director of ‘Shootout at Wadala’ choreographed a sequence which saw a car being blown up live.

John was accompanied by director Sanjay Gupta, music director Anu Malik, filmmaker Siddhant Kapoor and several other members of the crew of ‘Shootout at Wadala’ at the first look launch. As is natural, John was mobbed by several hundred of his filmi fans post the high-energy dramatic first look launch of ‘Shootout at Wadala’. The humble actor willingly obliged his fans by signing his autograph onto their notebooks, shirts and caps.
