Bollywood actress Vidya Balan shares a picture of her holding a credit card and this strongly seems to be a reaction over Kangana Ranaut’s credit controversy for Simran.
As earlier we reported, National award winning writer Apurva Asrani was sidelined in the credits given for Simran and how Kangana Ranaut was given the credit of co-writer even before Apurva Asrani.
Apurva Asrani, the writer and editor of Hansal Mehta’s Simran, spoke his heart out in an interview about the credit of co-writer being given to Kangana Ranaut. The writer had expressed his disappointment on the same.

Apurva, later in a long FB post, revealed the whole story about how he has been cheated and that how Kangana Ranaut has snatched the well-earned credits and his two years of efforts as a writer for Hansal Mehta’s upcoming film Simran. Apurva also lashed out at his dear friend and director Hansal Mehta for being a part of the conspiracy.
Well, looks like Apurva has got someone in support of him. Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has also joined the writer’s side. Her latest Instagram post is believed to be a sarcastic take on the Simran credit row.
Vidya Balan, who will be seen next in Suresh Triveni’s Tumhari Sulu, has shared a picture of her holding a credit card. Vidya shared a picture of her showing off credit card and captioned it as “Who needs credit when your director gifts you this card ?!! ?#
Thankoo Suresh Triveni.”
This seems to be like an indirect dig at Kangana Ranaut, who has been given the ‘additional story, screenplay and dialogues’ credit for Simran. Apurva Asrani also joined the conversation and wrote, “Before Vidya Balan could demand an ‘additional credit’ on her new film, her producer gave her this…Hilarious.”
Well, Kangana has now reacted to the same with an amazing and calm response. Talking to Pinkvilla, Kangana Ranaut said, “Haha I read about that. Vidya is a dear friend and honestly, I am not a thin-skinned person when it comes to people taking digs or jibes at me.”
