Turns out that Dhoni had a very close look at the teaser of his upcoming movie and has given his approval to the director after careful consideration. The teaser was given the finishing touches only after Dhoni gave his nod of approval. A source close to the film said that Dhoni did not suggest any changes whatsoever in the film and seemed rather pleased by everything. Some people on the production team were worried that the Indian skipper might ask for some changes and if that were the case, it would have sent them back to the conceptualization stage.
Sushant Singh Rajput, who was last seen on the silver screen in and as Dibakar Banerjee‘s Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, has undergone rigorous training as well as a complete makeover to essay the Indian cricketer flawlessly. MS Dhoni The Untold Story, which has been shot extensively in Ranchi, also features veteran actor Anupam Kher, who will be seen playing Dhoni’s father Pan Singh.
Actor Kiara Advani has been roped in to play Dhoni‘s wife Sakshi. Apart from Sushant and Kiara, MS Dhoni The Untold Story will also work as a comeback vehicle for Tere Naam actor Bhumika Chawla.[/tps_footer]
