Directed by Rohit Shetty, the movie opened up with great response from the audience. The film was much in limelight for its impressive star cast and top notch in its promotional activities too. The stars of the film left no platform unexplored for promoting their entertainment flick. ‘Dilwale’ was high on the minds of the audience for the reunion of the most romantic on screen pair of SRK and Kajol.
After the mind blowing songs like Gerua and Manma Emotion, expectations from the film ‘Dilwale’ were high amongst the audience. The film is touted to be a mix of romance, action and emotion. Finally, the film has hit the theatres and the viewers are ready with their reviews for ‘Dilwale’.
The movie finished its first day run at the box office impressively. The film was expected to collect Rs. 20-30 crores net approx and it has done the same by becoming the front runner in most of the regions in India. ‘Dilwale’ has got a collection of Rs. 22 crores net approx (Rs. 220 million) on its first day which is a very good number despite the clash with ‘Bajirao Mastani’. As predicted earlier the film has performed better in Northern regions as well as some parts of South where a film like ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ can’t sustain.
Our reporter went to take public reviews. We received tremendous amount of response from viewers who had just finished watching ‘Dilwale’. All the Shah Rukh Khan’s fans showered love for their idol. We got mixed reactions from the people too. Some fans went gaga over SRK and Kajol’s romance, some enjoyed the action packed performances and some enjoyed the comic factor in the movie.[/tps_footer]
