We know Navjot Singh Sidhu as many things; he is the ultimate star for us who has made us proud at various occasions. He is an ex-cricketer, a present commentator and for a general T.V viewing audience he is the funny turban clad Sikh who plays judge at various comedy shows. He became a household name when he started acting as a judge for a stand-up comedy show.
We admire him for his funny charm, his love of humor and definitely his ‘Shayaris’. He is one of the most fluent and impeccable speaker of our mother tongue Hindi. All is not well for our multi-talented star when he was recently admitted in Delhi’s Apollo hospital as there is a clot in his vein.
He was suffering from a life threatening disease which could have turned fatal for the star. Well looks like all is well now, “Sidhu has been put on blood thinners and has been recovering well. His condition is said to be stable as of now,” as notified a statement issued by Indraprastha Apollo Hospital authorities.

He has been from time to time appreciated for his contributions to our country. Well-known actress Priyanka Chopra and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu were honoured with Punjabi Icons Award at a Baisakhi celebration earlier this year.
Looks like Sidhuji did not lose his sense of humor and even while in the hospital, he took to his social networking site and tweeted “Life threatening disease (DVT) With God ‘s Grace will recover. Life is Fragile, handle with Prayer.”
We could not be more happy to know that now Sidhuji is well and on the path of recovery. We wish him all the luck from our end and hope to see the cheerful host and judge back soon on our TV screens.
