MUMBAI: There is trouble brewing once again in the ‘Fitoor’ camp and don’t worry its not because of Sushant Singh Rajupt but this time its because of veteran actor Sridevi.
Yes you have heard it right Sridevi has walked out of ‘Fitoor’.
Sridevi is known for her versatility and everyone is eagerly waiting to see more of her post ‘English Vinglish’ and when we all thought the wait was just about to get over, Sridevi too has walked out of ‘Fitoor’ as she thought that the role had negative shades, something that she would not be comfortable doing.
Sushant Singh Rajput, who was earlier a part of the film, recently walked out of the project.
Abhishek Kapoor wanted Sridevi for a role, which was played by Robert De Niro in the 1998 big screen version of Charles Dickens bestseller novel ‘Great Expectations’.
The film has Katrina Kaif as the leading lady. However, a source from the production house UTV has confirmed saying, ‘Sridevi couldn’t be part of the film, as she thought she wasn’t the right choice for the role.’
Well, we wish Abhishek Kapoor all the best for his project and hope that his film ‘Fitoor’ would go on to become a blockbuster so that he can have the last laugh.
