The latest daddy on the block is back to work after his paternity break. Shahid Kapoor has started shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s magnum opus ‘Padmavati‘ also starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
Padmavati is a period drama based on the story of Rani Padmavati, who was the second wife of Raja Ratan Singh of Mewar and how her beauty allured Muslim King Alauddin Khilji unleash war on the Rajputs to capture Padmini. Shahid Kapoor plays the role of Raja Ratan Singh.
“Day 1. #Padmavati wish me luck guys,” the 35-year-old actor posted on photohsaring app, Instagram along with a picture of his bearded look, the look he dons in the movie.
Doesn’t look like he had to work a lot differently with his physical appearance but his moustache look is damn hot!!
Shahid has finally joined Deepika Padukone on the sets, where she has been shooting for her Ghoomar sequence. Sasha will be joining her for it. Guys do you remember the royal Deewani Masatni Song from Bajirao Mastani? This seems to be that kind of song for Padmavati if sources can be believed.
Deepika is playing the titular role and Ranveer will be the essaying the role of King Alauddin Khilji. Padmavati has got our expectations soring with these three gorgeous stars coming together for SLB’s magic!
