MUMBAI: By now, pretty much everyone was aware of Paris Hilton’s visit to India for the India Resort Fashion Week (IRFW) held in Goa, where she was DJ’ing. And for those who didn’t know, you must surely be living under a rock!

Paris Hilton’s much publicised visit to India ended with a trip to Mumbai, where she did a couple of very touristy things. The first among them being her well-publicized visit to Shri Siddhivinayak Temple in the wee hours of Monday morning, clad in saffron hues. Paris sought the blessings of Mumbai’s favourite elephant headed God, Ganpatti bappa on this visit.

Paris Hilton also tread in familiar waters, much like many other International celebs visiting India, by undertaking a visit to an orphanage. Paris paid a visit to the Committed Communities Development Trust (CCDT) in Mumbai, India on December 03rd 2012. Here, the lovely lady interacted with children at the orphanage, and spent some quality time with these lesser privileged kids. Looking like a pretty Barbie doll, the heiress was seen chatting with the kids, and greeted them with the traditional Indian greeting of “Namaste”, a sign she’s surely picked up while in India.

She chose to don a floral printed dress and a hippie boho headband around her gorgeous blonde locks. A face of minimal makeup greeted the kids, and she showed them how much she loved them by holding her hands out in a heart shaped gesture, as a symbol of affection. She even danced to the tunes of ‘Chammak Challo’ with the kids, and tweeted about it saying, “Love them! Such sweet kids <3”

Paris live tweeted along every step of her India trip, including saying how much she loves India. “Of course, I love India. Amazing place and people!” she squealed. We hope that the hotel heiress visits again soon, and spreads the joy among all stratas of society once again!
