MUMBAI: The King of Bollywood, as Shah Rukh Khan is fondly known, stepped out for a joyride in his home turf in the Mumbai suburb of Bandra.
We spotted the handsome 47 year-old superstar out and about in his neighbourhood: the suburban locality of Bandra, late last afternoon. Looking dapper in a casual white shirt, light blue jeans and a black sleeveless hoodie, SRK charmed his many admirers outside his bungalow.
A smattering of fans mobbed the superstar as he stepped out of his white sedan.
Shah Rukh Khan, we hear, is busy reading scripts at ‘Mannat’ annexe, the palatial office space behind his bungalow. On a break from Rohit Shetty’s ‘Chennai Express’, reports suggest that SRK has had several closed-door meetings with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, possibly finalising the script for the third installment of the ‘Don’ series.
What about Farah Khan’s ambitious project ‘Happy New Year’? Reveals a source: “It was expected that Farah will announce the name of her heroine – there has been quite a bit of speculation on who that is – at the beginning of the year. But no one, except Abhishek Bachchan and SRK, have been finalised for the four-hero project yet.”
Says Farah, “I am waiting for Shah Rukh to free himself from ‘Chennai Express’. We have not had the time to discuss the project in a while, but we will very soon.”
