Aamir Khan held a special screening in Chennai for superstar Rajinikanth. Dangal surely looks like one of the most promising film of the year and Rajinikanth really liked it, but refused to this offer by Aamir Khan.
After the screening, Aamir requested the superstar to dub for his character in the Tamil version of Dangal. But Rajinikanth politely said, Illai (No) and turned him down.
“Aamir had screened the film for Rajinikanth sir and also requested him to dub for his character for the Tamil version of Dangal. Although moved by the film, Rajini sir politely turned down the offer,” a source close to Rajinikanth revealed.
That’s strange. Why do you think that happened?
We have a maybe answer. It seems Rajini sir went to Aamir with 2.0 (the role that is now played by Akshay Kumar) but he had reportedly declined the offer.
What do you guys think?
For all those who are blissfully unaware, Dangal is releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu across India. To improve the chances of success down south, Aamir requested the superstar to dub in Tamil. Now, Aamir has to look out for someone else.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is the biographical story of Mahavir Singh Phogat (played by Aamir), who taught wrestling to his daughters, Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari, who won gold and silver medals respectively for India at 2010 Commonwealth Games.
