Rajkumar Hirani All Geared Up For Sanjay Dutt's Biopic

Rajkumar Hirani has just returned from the USA. The 300 crore director had a really long stay this time in the USA with Abhijat Joshi. Both the writers were busy writing the script for their next.

After PK, Raju has got himself involved completely on his next project, which is Sanjay Dutt’s biopic. This is the first time he would be working on a biopic. Sanju played the main lead in Raju’s directorial debut, which became a huge hit. Both of them share a great bond in real life.

Raju Hirani is extremely excited for Sanju’s biopic and looking forward to start shooting for the same. He wants to capture all the moments of Sanju’s life and show all the known and unknown side of his life to the audiences.

However, reports suggest that Hirani has approached the Ranbir Kapoor to essay the lead role in the biopic. Earlier, there were rumours that the project is being shelved, however, the latest update about the same is that Ranbir will be playing the lead in the biopic.

The Bombay Velvet star Ranbir Kapoor was heard sharing that playing the character of Sanjay Dutt in the biopic will be a very difficult task for him. The talented heartthrob added that portraying his role on screen will be interesting.

Rajkumar Hirani who is one of the finest filmmakers in the country was heard sharing that he will start shooting for the biopic early next year.

However, it is being reported that Rajkumar Hirani is still in the process of finalizing the script and nothing official has been confirmed yet. But there are strong revelations that Barfi star Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as the main lead in the biopic.

After giving meaningful and content driven films like 3 Idiots, PK and Munnabhai series, we are sure the audience is waiting eagerly for the biopic.
